Meg Craig Collection

From the early 1950s until her passing in 2019, Meg Craig single handly collected and curated a vast collection of Belizean published books, stamps, coins, historical artefacts and photographs among other things. She did her best to organize these things in the hope that they could someday be of use

Barranco, Toledo 1979 by Joseph Palacio

Joseph Palacio is a Garifuna Belizean anthropologist, who served as Belize’s Archaeological Commissioner from 1971-1976.  A leading promoter of Garifuna language, history, and culture,  he earned his PhD in Anthropology from the University of California-Berkeley in 1982. The 1979 photos in this collection form part of his extensive research.
